Fatz Joins Pinterest

TAYLORS, S.C. August 1, 2016 – Showcasing a curated collection of all things Southern — from cooking to landmarks and more — Fatz Cafe recently joined Pinterest.

The Fatz Cafe boards celebrate various touchstones in Southern culture: Football. Food. Attitude. And more.

Pinterest, which bills itself as a “visual discovery, collection and storage tool,” is one of the top social media sites in the world, with 100 million regular users globally. However, most Pinterest users are women, living in the U.S., with disposable income.

In fact, according to one study, 75 percent of Pinterest users have purchased something they’ve seen on the site.

Yet, the Fatz Cafe boards aren’t just pictures of entrees and items from the restaurant’s wide-ranging menu. Fatz Cafe also created boards that celebrate their footprint — one for each state in which they are located. These boards capture fun things to do in each state as well as quirky state-specific facts.

“At Fatz, we’re about so much more than just Southern food done well,” said Zac Painter, Vice President, Marketing for Fatz Cafe. “We wanted our Pinterest boards to reflect that. At our heart, we’re about family, community, hospitality and the charm of the South.”
