TAYLORS, S.C. Aug. 27, 2018 – Fatz Southern Kitchen has closed its location on 100 Southport Road in Spartanburg, S.C.
“First and foremost, we want to thank our guests for dining with us at Fatz on Southport Road since our opening,” said CEO Jim Mazany. “This community has supported us since the beginning, and we are grateful. We invite you to visit one of 2 other Fatz restaurants nearby on Highway 9 in Boiling Springs and at the corner of Pottery Road and John Dodd Road in Spartanburg.”
Fatz on Southport Road was a leased property that came up for renewal. The decision was made not to renew the lease in hopes of securing a location with direct visibility from the road.
“We are offering the Fatz staff employment positions at nearby Fatz locations,” said Mazany. It is important that the Fatz team is supported during this transition.”
Fatz gift cards and coupons can be used at any of the 40 Fatz locations in the Southeast.
